Samsung 17nm follows Intel 16

One of the key introductory technologies Intel is offering via their Intel Foundry Services (IFS) is 'Intel 16'. As its name suggests, it is positioned against TSMC's 16-nanometer process as well as Samsung's 14-nanometer. More recently, Samsung decided to follow Intel and introduce a new node called 17-nanometer. But can marketing really be trusted with those names?
