TSMC 2021 Foundry Update: Foundry Roadmap
2020 has been another well-executed year of growth for the world's largest foundry with 2021 expected to top it. While certain foundries are struggling to roll out their latest nodes, TSMC continues with its proven track record. So while it's not often that we get to see real defect numbers, capacity, along with a detailed roadmap with the expected power, performance, and area improvements of future nodes, at the recent 2021 TSMC Symposium which was held earlier last month, the company was happy to present all of that, outlining its roadmaps and plans for the next few years.
